Ferndale Oval Sports Lighting Upgrade – Project Update

Exciting news for our local sporting community! Ferndale Oval in Dalyellup is getting new sports lighting, making it easier for clubs and players to train and compete beyond daylight hours.

Kalamunda Electrics has been appointed to install four new lighting towers at the oval. Work on the first phase will start Tuesday 7th April and run through to 14th April, conveniently during school holidays. Please note that the northern carpark on Ferndale Avenue will be closed during this time.

This upgrade is part of the WA Government’s PlayOn WA program, a state-wide initiative delivering over 2,000 community infrastructure projects across Western Australia by 2030.
