South Dalyellup Foreshore Redevelopment Project- September Update

The Shire of Capel has now received the 85% design for the Dalyellup Foreshore Redevelopment Project. The design incorporates many of the key elements and material preferences identified by the community during consultation sessions, ensuring local feedback has helped shape the project outcomes.

The redevelopment is progressing well, with the current design delivering an attractive and functional foreshore that embraces the natural coastal environment while improving accessibility for residents and visitors into the future.

The Shire is currently planning to deliver the redevelopment in stages. Stage 1 will prioritise construction of the beach access ramp and four-wheel-drive access track, while the southern viewing platform is proposed as part of Stage 2 of the project.
