The Acreage Estate, Dalyellup

An update was sent out by Cedar Woods FRIDAY 14 August 2026 updating residents on the works being undertaken on the Minninup Bridge by the appointed Contractors Fortec. There has also been Access Track maintenance works completed with Cedar Woods committing to continued maintenance moving forward. A copy of this update has been uploaded as a PDF under Documents and a link to the EDM has also been added under Important Links.

Fortec Australia Pty Ltd has been engaged by Cedar Woods Properties to complete the demolition and replacement of the bridge over Five Mile Brook (No. 614) located on Minninup Road, Dalyellup.

The existing timber bridge will be demolished, and a new concrete structure will be built. Western Power are working in the area to remove overhead power lines that are in proximity of our scope of works.

Fortec expects the demolition to commence Monday 20th of July 2026, with the bridge closed off entirely until reconstruction is complete, in the interests of ensuring safety.

The Shire has been informed by Cedar Woods that the access track to The Acreage will be graded again at the end of the month (July 2026). The Shire will continue to liaise with Cedar Woods and follow up on maintenance required.
